Here’s the write-up that Rhine’s website gave to this weekend with Joe:

Want to learn more about your PSI ability from a master? Come hear firsthand from one of the most outstanding remote viewers of the US government’s highly successful 20-year psychic spying program.

Joseph W. McMoneagle, CW2, USA Ret., will speak about many of the interesting and bizarre occurrences he’s experienced over his years of involvement within the previously classified, U.S. Army, Star Gate Program. He will share information that can assist those interested in PSI in determining what is real and what isn’t within the paranormal world; providing examples of how Remote Viewing has been and can be used within the modern world.

Joseph McMoneagle is a much-decorated retired Army officer and the Owner/Executive Director of the Intuitive Intelligence Applications, Inc., a Virginia based company which has provided PSI support to government, businesses, and individuals for over twenty-five years. As an original member of the Star Gate unit and a full member of the Parapsychological Association, he has also been a Research Associate for the Laboratories for Fundamental Research, California, and a past consultant for PSI laboratories at SRI and SAIC. He’s authored numerous books on remote viewing and has successfully demonstrated Remote Viewing, live, on national television in seven countries. He is a long-time Advisory Board member and friend of the Rhine Research Center He currently lives in Nellysford, Virginia with his wife Nancy. Read more about Mr. McMoneagle at www.mceagle.com.

I’ll also be giving a presentation at a nearby locale, Saturday after Joe’s workshop. Here’s the writeup on that:

Nancy McMoneagle: Never Mind 2012! How to Best Navigate the Choppy Waters of 2010-2011
Saturday, June 5th at 3:00-5:00 pm

About the talk:

Anyone who is concerned about what’s going to happen in 2012 will want to hear Nancy McMoneagle’s fun and educational presentation about why focusing on how to deal with the “astrological weather” patterns in 2010 and 2011 is far more important than worrying about the end of the Mayan Calendar.

Drawing on her 20-plus years as an astrologer, Nancy will give tips and insights about how you can most productively use your astrological sign’s gifts and challenges for the demanding times ahead. Come learn how you can plot the best course and timing for an optimum journey into the future.

Nancy McMoneagle is a professional astrologer and works as a consultant with her husband Joe in their company, Intuitive Intelligence Applications (www.mceagle.com). Astrology has been Nancy’s passion for over 30 years and her prime vocation since 1991 when she completed her tenure as Director of the internationally acclaimed Monroe Institute. She resides with her husband, two dogs and their six feline “fur children” in the mountains of central Virginia. Nancy does astrological chart consultations in person and over the phone, and may be contacted at P.O. Box 100, Nellysford, VA 22958.

For tickets, contact Sally srfeather@nc.rr.com or (919)644-0677 to signup/info. Cost: $15 (to Nancy).

Hope to see some of you there!

Sorry for the long space in between blog entries, folks — it’s been busier than ever around here, which hasn’t left much time or focus for updating the blog. Joe and I have been traveling quite a bit in addition to our usual workload, so the good news is we’ve been out and about in the real world instead of too much virtual computer life. The other news is, we’ve not been very good about keeping up with e-mail or our Blog (clearly)!

In fact, we’re taking off again, which is what I wanted to share with you all, especially our Japanese friends. Joe will be appearing on another “FBI: Psychic Investigators” show for Nippon TV in the next couple of weeks. I think this will be show number 13. The Japanese film crew was here about a month ago, filming Joe in our dining room as he remote viewed the locations of a couple of missing people. As ever with all such targets, I wrote down the names of the missing people and put that in closed, opaque envelopes, giving each envelope a target number.

Joe accurately described the targets, then drew maps and gave specific suggestions about where they should look for these people. The Japanese film crew and producer then took this information and will use Joe’s maps, drawings and descriptions, along with the help of a detective, to see if they can find the people. Joe was pleased to once again work a cold case file with retired LAPD detective, Jimmy Sakoda, who came to Virginia with the film crew. We’ll share more details on that case once it’s solved!

The show will be aired IN JAPAN ONLY on Nippon TV, Channel 4, the end of September — I think they said the 25th, around 9:00 p.m. Check your listings to make sure. After we return from the other side of the world – which besides Tokyo, includes a side trip to Kyoto (my favorite city), Nara, where the huge Buddha is, and Yamaguchi prefecture south of Tokyo, we’ll let you know if they were able to locate Joe’s targets. They don’t tell us any of the results ahead of time, presumably so Joe’s reaction in the studio portion of the filming will be spontaneous. So…stay tuned!

Meanwhile, anyone interested in looking at the astrological forecasts for 2008 may want to pick up a copy of Sydney Omarr’s ASTROLOGICAL GUIDE FOR YOU IN 2008, which my writer/astrologer friend, Trish MacGregor, does each year. I’ve got an article in it, “Signs to Make a Difference,” about how each sign can make a positive difference in the world by honoring their Sun Sign traits.

I hope everyone enjoys what’s left of the sultry days of summer, as the brisk breezes of autumn will be here forthwith. We’ll let you know how Joe’s remote viewing turns out for the Japanese TV show, and update you more frequently than once everyone five months — promise!

Warm regards to all,
Scooter

A number of people have asked me what I think about Pluto’s recent demotion by the IAU from being a planet to being a “dwarf planet,” and if this will have any impact on astrology.

I don’t think its reclassification into a dwarf planet will change the effects we’ve noted from Pluto since its discovery in the early 30s. As someone once said, a rose by any other name is still a rose! Even so, as an astrologer, I’m open to and curious about what possible changes could occur as a result, so I have great interest in watching what happens from here on.

Regarding the question concerning what I think about the other two planets the IAU was considering, which I assume to be UB313 (Xena) and asteroid Ceres — since they’re now classified as dwarf planets, again, it will be fascinating to observe what happens. I find it interesting that both planets have feminine connotations, each one representing different ends of the feminine spectrum with UB313 nicknamed Xena after a “warrior princess,” and Ceres, which is mythologically and astrologically associated with the nurturing mother.

Now that these celestial bodies have received recognition by the earthly astronomical “Powers That Be” in Prague at the IAU, I’m guessing we’ll see a lot more activity and hear more news about women in the military and in politics, news about certain powerful women and how they’re both warrior and mother, more focus on women’s power and position (or lack thereof) worldwide, more about the need for nurturing and feeding people worldwide, and so forth. Perhaps this heralds a time of getting back to honoring the feminine… Now, wouldn’t that be special?!

Memoirs of a Psychic Spy has finally hit the street. It is the trade paperback edition of my original hardcover book Stargate Chronicles. It is the trade paperback edition of my original hardcover book Stargate Chronicles.
My wife, Scooter, has a wonderful article that’s just come out in Sidney Omarr’s Astrological Guide for You in 2007. It’s titled; “It’s Time to Think Big, by Jove!” [pg. 296] She provides a lot of very interesting detail about Jupiter and how it affects each of the signs next year when it moves into its own sign of Sagittarius. She has contributed articles for the Omarr Annual for three years running, and they are all excellent. I believe her insight as an Astrologer is exceptional, but then I might be slightly biased.
